Proplant Tyre Services only use premium Tyre Fills – also referred to as foam fill – that have been thoroughly tested and proven worldwide. The polyurethane liquid is pumped into the pneumatic OTR tyre through the valve stem to replace all the air with resilient synthetic elastomer (man-made rubber). This is then pressurised with more polyurethane liquid to achieve the required operating pressure for the application and operating environment – comprising load, operator comfort, and heat dissipation. The tyre is then laid flat for 24 to 48 hours for the liquid to cure, effectively becoming a solid rubber core that can never go flat.

Service exchange wheel rims

To maximise your plant uptime, Proplant offer service exchange wheel rims. We fit your new plant OTR tyres to used wheel rims for Liebherr, CAT, Volvo and JCB machinery. We then perform the Tyre Fill application at our Gravesend service centre before making a single site visit to fit your new tyres.
